Each antique salt mill has been delicately carved by hand using PEFC™ certified beechwood to create an aged appearance that represents Peugeot's expert skill for making products that can stand the test of time.

The slightly weathered-looking button at the top of the salt mill, marked with the notable lion's head, is used to adjust the grind of the salt - the tighter it is twisted, the finer the grind.
